Alex stayed in touch throughout the entire process, kept us updated, and was always quick to answer questions, which made a stressful project so much easier. The receptionist was incredibly kind and patient every time I called. She always made sure my questions were answered or got me to the right person without making me feel like a bother.

Wolf and Brandon did an outstanding job replacing our drain field. They worked hard, paid attention to the details, and did a great job spreading everything back out afterward so our yard looked as good as possible considering the amount of work involved.

Their communication, quality of work, and fair pricing were all top-notch. It's hard to find companies that genuinely care about their customers anymore, but Averett Septic definitely does. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again and will gladly recommend them to anyone needing septic work.

I can’t say enough great stuff for this company. Our septic backed up and I called and spoke with the sweetest most nice and caring woman aka Marlena!!! Talk about making you forget you have an issue in the first place haha. She sent out her team Timmy and Drake which resolved the issue super quick!! Timmy and Drake were super knowledgeable, polite, and very professional!!! This team is definitely second to none!!! I will never call any other company for any septic needs. We had an issue with our tank over the weekend. We reached out to their after hours service and we were helped by Marlena. She was extremely helpful, helped trouble shoot the issue to get us through the weekend and assured that the tech would be out to our house on Monday. When Monday came around, Timmy and Drake came to our house. Timmy was very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Timmy and drake fixed our issue and left the work area perfectly clean. Very pleased with the overall customer service.

Had Averett Septic out to pump my septic tank, but finding it was the real challenge. The tank was installed about five years ago by the previous owners, and the lids had been buried nearly three feet deep. Multiple people, including a plumber, had tried to locate it without success.

Then Averett sent Timmy L. I’m honestly not sure anyone else was going to find it. He located the tank quickly, minimized disturbance to my yard, and made the whole process easy. He was also able to install risers and set them perfectly below grade, making future access much easier while preserving the appearance of my yard. Professional, knowledgeable, and full of septic puns.

I had a septic tank sitting dormant for about 8 years. Roland provided me with information on how to prepare for an inspection. When Jordan came out, he was respectful while providing education on my septic tank's condition and proper maintenance. I am extremely satisfied and will be using them for my future needs.

Averett now has plumbing service. Tim the plumber came to my home, found a leak in the wall and manage to fix it without tearing out that wall. He also fixed a toilet floor bracket and installed a shower head for good measure. The price was very reasonable, there was no mess to clean up and Tim is a very pleasant person. Try Averett's plumbing when you need service. The estimate was free.

Called the 24 hour emergency services phone line. Jerome answered all of our questions and provided information about scheduling next day services. Called at 7:00 a.m. - had a gentleman out to service the home by 8:45 a.m. Clogged filter. Appreciate Jerome for his guidance and assistance and to the person who came to service the system. Maintenance plan was renewed!

Had my septic pumped and had tank caps installed. Their turn around time was great and Timmy (who installed the caps) was fantastic! Not only did he do a stellar job installing the risers without issue, but he also took the time to use the grass that was dug up and lay them around my yard, as well as neatly add the extra dirt back into my flower beds.

Chris was early to the appointment, professional, very knowledgeable and courteous. I would highly recommend this company.

I had Ron and Tim over today to assist. I have always said its how you address little things that makes a loyal customer. These Gentlemen have made a customer of me while i have this house. They go above and beyond and are truly interested in taking care of a problem.

Second time using Averett. Technicians Josh and Chris were very prompt, took their time to answer all of my questions, showed me what they were talking about at the tank, and did the job quickly of pumping my tank. Bad news is I need a new drain field which I sadly was expecting. Good news is the septic tank is in "real good" condition. Time to get a drain field replacement quote :-).

12/10/25 - Don't see how I can add another review so editing. I went with Averett's quote for my new drain field. Kmart, Alex, and James came out today and installed my new drain field. They did a great job, were on time, took the time to answer any questions I had (it was interesting to watch), and completed it in the day it was scheduled. Thanks!

I had risers put in flush with the ground. Tim, the guy that did the installation was great. He went above and beyond and explained some things to me that were very educational.

Averett Septic Tank Company was very polite and punctual. I want to call out Alex Jordan. I schedule an appointment, and Alex came to Lake Placid to evaluate a picture I sent them of my driveway septic tank cover. Alex immediate diagnosed and determined a corrective action to get my tank pumped!
His contacts and resources were a great help! On Monday, a young healthy man (I think his name is Josh) came to my place and removed the 3/4" metal plate that Alex procured to pump my tank.
My tank was a mess; it hadn't been pumped in over 20 years.
I highly recommend Averett Septic Tank Company, Alex and Josh! I would have added some photo; Josh took a bunch for my file.
